11/5/2021 0 Comments Insomnia: a poemIt all begins when the stars seep into the cracks of darkness When tomorrow fades from sight You dream in color
I dream in sparkles and light In a world where blue becomes red Memories blend into each other A sea of serenity and storms Hey, I’ve lost myself in a maze of colors Find me between the pastel sunset and blinding dawn The night is when I blossom Look for me somewhere beyond the oceans I drift away in the waves of my fantasies When I close my eyes There is a party of hues An enchanted forest of forgotten dreams And if I look a little deeper Not-so-beautiful visions are concealed I drown in deep thoughts Hey, I’ve lost myself in a storm of words Find me when you look up to the indifferent sky I keep my head in the clouds Look for me when the stars are clear and bright I hide my darkness behind their eternal light Thoughts and sleep clash Ideas spin until I'm dizzy I’ve lost myself yet again Find me at the edge of the cosmos It's where my dreams are When the sun comes up It’s another victory for ludicrous thoughts A new treasure is discovered A piece of me returns home This is my heart Always lost, but never failing to find
